We want to make sure that our students are happy and safe while studying with us at Bath College. If you need any support or advice regarding your studies or your personal life, we have the following services to help you.
All students have a personal tutor. This is usually someone who teaches you. Your personal tutor will help you to develop good study skills, and to set targets. You can consult your tutor about any study or personal issues, and if you need help with a particular problem then your tutor will know where you can get that help.
Faith and spirituality
We have a multi-faith chaplain who provides religious support to students of all faiths or no faith. We also have a dedicated prayer and meditation room which is open to all students for quiet meditation, reflection or prayer.
Our college nurse runs three drop-in sessions each week for students who may need confidential advice regarding their health and well-being.
Student Advice Centre
Visit the Student Advice Centre if you have questions about enrolment, payments, accommodation, course information, careers, and life in the UK. We are experienced at working with international students, and can help you with questions about topics such as visas, applications, travel, opening a bank account, and registering with a doctor.
There is a team of qualified first-aid staff members on duty at all time. They can help and support students if they become ill or if there is an accident while they are in College.
Bath College has a counselling service to provide support for students who may be experiencing emotional or mental difficulties.
The Safeguarding team at Bath College are here to ensure that all students feel physically and emotionally safe, and to respond to any incidents of bullying or abuse.
